If you’re a new patient, we’ll work you in as quickly as possible on the very same day. Patients of record can reach Dr. Molgard after hours by following the directions on our office recording. If you’ve broken a tooth or prosthesis (such as a denture or crown), we ask that you call us immediately. The sooner that we are able to see you, the better.
Are You Experiencing a Dental Emergency? Some of the most common types of dental problems or emergencies that we see include:
- Broken Dentures and Partials – We strive to provide same day denture repairs when at all possible. In most cases, you can bring your denture in first thing in the morning and we can have it repaired before the end of the same business day.
- Broken Crowns – From time to time, crowns may fall off of teeth; especially if new decay is developing underneath. Please bring your crown with you to your appointment, so that we can attempt to recement it in place when appropriate. Do not attempt to recement the tooth yourself.
- Chipped Teeth – A chipped or avulsed (knocked out) tooth can scare you just as badly as it hurts. When possible, locate the broken tooth fragments and immediately place them in a cup of milk, contact solution, or saline to transport them to our office.
- Toothaches – Dental pain can be caused from everyday problems like cavities, abscessed teeth, or accidents. They can also cause some of the worst discomfort that you’ve ever felt in your life. Dr. Molgard will help you get out of pain as quickly as possible.
